Are you tired of what they’ve done to the internet yet? 

I’ve been pretty chapped about it for a while, actually, since before the comic site went dormant years ago. Back then, it was the RSS feeds that drove me nuts, and the shift towards Facebook posts. Then it was Twitter, then short videos… everything started getting consolidated into fewer and fewer apps. Now, it’s the fucking AI on top of everything else.  

So I spent my time working on other projects— writing about the beauty industry and running a nail polish company, then working for a political action committee, working as the design director at da Sharez0ne, and co-hosting a long-running podcast series. I was also getting back to my ceramics (which were put to the side when my comics took off), raising my kid, and spending my spare time learning tarot and delving into esoteric practice. I also sold off my life in Ohio and moved to the woods, on a mountain, in rural central Vermont.

Have you ever tried to cram years into a single blog post? It’s fine, we’re all caught up now.

I was on the fence for a long time about what to do with this website, then I decided that it’s still my website. I’m Natalie Dee, I’m making art and writing, and I am going to use my website to post my bullshit.

This is still early days, I will post the comic archive here at a future date, once everything is unpacked and running smoothly. I’ll continue blogging in this space, and add more to the page as I get myself wrapped up in more creative projects. This is my page for all of my bullshit, instead of a page for only one project, which is honestly what I should have done to begin with. We’re fixing that now, though.
